And she constantly says she's going to 'pretend to be happy' and go see her boyfriend.

She calls me a bad friend, despite my efforts to make her happy (surprise birthday party, concerts, attempting to hang out). She appreciates it at first, but it's like she doesn't realize how hard I'm trying after the initial appreciation.
